The Reykjavík Arts Festival has been around for 38 years. This is the first year I've heard of it and it continues to build my growing interest of traveling to Iceland.
Pictured on the left is a snapshot of hundreds of photos of Icelandic children that adorned public space during the festival.
Stacks of crackers and swirls of licorice amidst musicians playing harp, cello, and xylophone set the tone for opening night. Read the Boston Globe article, Creators of Cool.
